A brief definition of signal words that are used in this

manual is as follows:

DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, WILL

result in death or

serious injury.

WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, COULD

result in death

or serious injury, and includes hazards that are ex

posed when guards are removed..

CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, MAY

result in minor or

moderate injury. It is also used to alert against unsafe

practices.
